York Appraisal Company, Inc. traces its beginning to 1982 when

President and owner, Cyndy York, began a successful career in

real estate as a salesperson in DuPage & Will Counties in

Illinois. Then, in 1985, Cyndy became one of the first women

in the Chicago area to provide FHA appraisals for lenders. She

subsequently opened York Appraisal Company, Inc. in 1997. In

the succeeding years through the present, Cyndy has provided

leadership in the appraisal industry in Illinois by offering

training and experience to many beginning appraisers and by

insisting on quality and integrity in all aspects of the appraisal

process.
